勒佩提木桐
木桐古堡毫无疑问的是波尔多地区最璀璨也是最优秀的酒庄之一。不同于拉菲和拉图古堡，木桐古堡副牌的历史则要曲折多了。在上个世纪的20年代，木桐古堡创立了木桐卡逮，等级略微低一点的葡萄都被用来酿制木桐卡逮。却不料在很短的时间里声名雀起，需求火爆，酒庄不得不另外采购更多得葡萄来满足需求量。在后来得70多年里，木桐古堡一直没有真正的副牌。直到1993年，这一年是波尔多不尽人意得一个年份，木桐古堡酒庄决定把一部分的葡萄留下来创立了她的副牌，当时的名字非常简单：木桐古堡副牌。
1994年，该酒有了一个崭新的名字和全新设计的酒标－勒佩提木桐(Le Petit Mouton)，这个名字来自酒庄1880年的最古老的建筑。而新的酒标沿用了著名的海报设计大师Jean Carlu设计，并由少庄主菲丽嫔女爵选中。勒佩提木桐是由赤霞珠，品丽珠和梅鹿混酿，他们的所用比率每年根据当年的葡萄收成和质量有所变化，每年只产2000箱。比起木桐古堡的年产量20，000箱，勒佩提木桐可谓产量稀少，故而市场上并不多见。
品尝记录：勒佩提木桐1999年
换瓶30分钟后在室温下品尝。颜色黑红，可以闻到明显的雪松，皮革和一丝黑李子的香味。橡木在单宁的衬托下非常理想的表现出来，酸度坚实，回味悠长。该酒能很好的陈年，新鲜果味已经开始消退。绝对是不错的一款酒，但个人以为等级上稍微差强人意。

Le Petit Mouton
Chateau Mouton, one of the most flameboyed Chateau in all of Bordeaux and indeed one of the best. Unlike Chateau Lafite or Latour, Ch Mouton had a more varied history in its second labels. In the 1920’s Chateau Mouton created a wine called Mouton Cadet, the grapes not worthy of Chateau Mouton went into Mouton Cadet, but it became so popular, contract grapes were brought in to fill the demand. Since then, Ch Mouton did not have a second label for the next 70 so years. Until 1993, a very weak year in Bordeaux, Chateau Mouton decided not to put all of its grapes in this Grand Vin, and created a new wine Simply called Second vin of Chateau Mouton Rothschild.
In 1994, the wine was given a new name and a new design, the name is Le Petit Mouton (after the original mansion on the ground in 1880). The new label design was chosen by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, and it was the work of the famouse poster designer Jean Carlu. The wine is made from a blend of cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, the proportion varies from vintage to vintage. A total of around 2000 cases are made every year, make it slightly harder to find than the big brother at over 20,000 cases a year.
Le Petit Mouton 1999
Decanted from about 30 minutes and brought to room temperature. The colour is dark ruby with nose of cedar, leather and a hint of black plum. The oak is well presented with the tannin, quite firm acidity with forward finish. The wine is showing some aged character and the fruit is starting to fade. Nice wine, but lack the class one would imagine.
